March 27, 2008 As we have seen in other pics of Aida she is not very fond of the camera. Well this morning, she not happy at all. We had a very early appt, and they are both late sleepers. so when the sonographer tried to wake her up she was not in the mood. And so she gracefully rolled over and threw her hand palm up on her forehead as if to say " woe is me, why are you bothering me." This is the shot of her hand coming off her head. Our little drama queen already!!!

March 27, 2008 We had an early appt and when we saw Kallison she was drinking and it was so cute to see her swallowing the amniotic fluid. Later that morning at another appt she had the hiccups. It was so adorable,!!!

I saw these at babies r us and had to get them. They are so tiny and sweet looking, they are the first pair of socks for the girls. Thank you to the nurses at the state for contributing to the purchase of these products!!!
They have to have special soap. So i bought some so that i could wash all the clothes in the nursery.
Gift Cards
Mommy went shopping today to get some stuff so that I can organize the nursery. This is what I bought with the gift cards that the nurses got for ya'll at the state school. Thank you much!!!

a Head?
the other day I am sitting in the office at work. And ya'll were very active so i had my hand on my tummy and i was rubbing it. and i rubbed over to the left side and there was a bulge in the side of my stomach. And when i looked down and low and behold i think it was Aida's head sticking out of the side of my stomach. It kinda creeped me out at first. and when i tried to move to take a picture of it with my phone, you moved. You haven't done it since.

Happy Easter
These are your first Easter cards from grandmolly :), they are great! You girls are already getting spoiled and you are not even here yet LOL. We also went to a new church this morning and we really liked it and you did too because the whole time mommy felt you dancing around to the music and lots of people there have kids and some on the way too which will give you some friends to play with when you come out.

Are You Ready? : Brian's Response
I don't really think that there is one particular way to get ready for babies coming especially for two of them. We are going to classes, etc in April to try to prepare, but everyone is different and who knows what the babies personalities will be like. I don't think we will be ready until they get here and we can figure it out from there with the help of our families of course :), in the end we will have fun as we always do. I think the same thing was asked about us 5 years ago when we got married, and we have done pretty well with that too LOL. There are ups and downs along the way, but in the end I couldn't imagine what life would be like without my lovely bride by my side through it all. This is going to be interesting because they are our babies and if they are anything like us we are in for a wild ride :).
Are you ready?
This is a question that is asked of me almost everyday. And i often so "No". But it is always with confidence, because somewhere along the way regardless of what all my books say and all the advice that people give, i have this wonderful image of brian and I being great parents and our children being perfect. so there really is no reason to be prepared. Well someone (i believe it was my mother) said " Kristi, in your head you are a very good mother right now and all of that sounds nice, but in reality that is not the way things work." Boy was I SHOCKED!!!!! But I have no fear and I am still in no hurry to get "prepared" I think brian and I are thinking "why prepare, when we can just wing it?" And if you know me and brian, then you know that is pretty much how we roll. I was reading one of my fabulous pregnancy books the other day and it talked about this thing called a "Birth Plan". And the stuff you are suppose to take to the hospital. Well up until a few weeks ago we didnt even know where the hospital was. But have no fear, we know now. But i was kinda thinking that when this time comes, I am going to stroll in to the hospital wearing my cutest baby delivery outfit, and get my epidural, and sleep the rest of the time, and when I wake they will be here. APPARENTLY, that is not how it works according to the discovery channel. 18 hours of labor and no drugs!!! you have got to be kidding me!!!! And she only had one! does that mean that it doubles for me? Cause, I'm not really into that.
I just wanted to reassure everyone that while we say we are not prepared, we really arent. but that it OK. we have no fear and are more than ready to accept the challenge without any planning.

Music!!!
As i was sitting here with my Itunes on and typing on my lap top I noticed that when the music is on the girls are a lot more active. They were just moving and shaking the whole time i had my music on. It was so cute. and then when I tried to do it so that daddy could feel them kicking more, they said no! and that was all for the dancing. But it was adorable while it lasted. Maybe it is because it is late and they are sleeping now so they can keep mommy up all night with the kicking as they usually do!!!

The girls pretty much have a sleep and wake cycle down. and get very agitated when it is not followed the way they want it to be. They usually sleep pretty late, well i think that they are sleeping, whatever they are doing they dont usually start moving around where I can feel them until about 10am. They are late sleepers like mommy. And this morning was my day off and we usually have a pretty set routine which is why i guess they sleep until 10. And the things that i do until then must be soothing to them. Well this am around 6am, i'm laying in bed and brian is getting ready for work, and kimi, who has the highest pitch bark starts barking and wakes up Kallison, and let me tell you that Kallison was not happy at all. She startled and jumped. That then woke up Aida and the rest is history. Mommy got no more sleep this morning without being kicked.

the easter baskets also had bibs in them and this is a stray third one that came in the package.
First Easter Baskets
nana barbie made them both easter baskets that had stuffed rabbits, a rubber duckie, a cow rattle, some slippers, some bath time stuff and some chocolate for mom and dad!!!
Huggies
Nana Barbie bought them several packages of diapers and a case of wipes.... and i am more than sure that we are going to need lots more!!!
