I have to say that I think my OCD paid off when I was looking for "school" picture outfits, because I am pretty sure that these are the cutest little ladies that anyone has ever seen!!! I may be a little biased! But they are still pretty cute
Aida is blue, Kalli is pink

Baby Dedication (10/12/2008)

Well this was a whirlwind weekend, since i am blogging on Wednesday it has been a whirlwind week also :). Our beautiful girls were dedicated this weekend, this is a special occasion meaning that we are committed to bringing our girls up to have a personal relationship with Jesus and it is our privilege to do so. The dresses were made by my mom and they are awesome, the girls loved them so much that they kept trying to eat them, especially the ribbons. Thanks Mom!! It was great to have family and friends in town and they all loved our church.

I also worked on my Comprehensive Exams and finished them so wish me luck!! This weekend is another exciting weekend since Kristi's mom is getting married and we will be in Odessa this weekend.

Happy Birthday Hunny Bunny!!!!!!

Happy Birthday my love, it has been a wild ride, just think last year at this time we didn't even know we were going to have a baby and then there were two :). You are an awesome wife and mother and I am so happy that God brought us together I couldn't imagine raising a family with anyone but you. The girls are lucky to have such a sweet, caring, loving mom and you have quickly become a pro. I am amazed everyday how much energy you have and the smiles on their faces tell the story.

Don't ever forget that you are my gorgeous princess always, I Love You!!!!

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Kristi happy birthday to you

4 month check up

the girls went in for their 4 month check up last week and the doc gave a fabulous report. Kallison weighed 14lbs and is 23inches long. Aida is 13lbs 12oz and 23 inches long. Both are meeting all the wonderful milestones and doing all the good stuff that they should be doing.
She gave us the go ahead to start them on "real" rice cereal in a couple of weeks and then at five months we move on to veggies!!! How exciting!!!
I am debating on making my own baby food when we get to veggies and fruits. Any input or advice from anyone would be great!!!

First PIcture Day

On September 30th at Mothers day Out it was Picture day. I was told that "bright primary colors" would be the best to dress them in. So it being the girls first ever picture day at school, my OCD kicked in and I obsessed trying to find the "perfect" outfits for picture day. And they were bright with lots of colors...none of which were primary colors. Do you know how hard it is to find primary colored clothes for little girls? Its almost impossible-if you want them to look cute! But their "teachers" reassured me that they thought that the pictures came out very well and that they thought that the girls gave big smiles. We have to wait for 2-3 weeks before we can see them. And then longer before we can send them out. Patience is a virtue!!!
